“On day one, Meatlon PX was used on the brass rail without any pretreatment and what was noticed is removing dirt and previous layers of chemicals that have been applied to the rails. Half of the rail was treated with Metalon PX and the other half with a Competitor Product used on the ship. Metalon PX was easier to use – applied one time gave same result that competitor product (Competitor product needs to be applied several times to acheive the same effect).
On day two, part of the rail that was treated with Competitor Product and Metal Preservative already started to show some faded areas so needed to be treated again while part treated with Metalon PX just needed to be wiped with dry rug to remove dust accumulated over night.
“Overall, Metalon PX doesn’t require any PPE, no special storage requirements, it’s easier to use and it has long lasting effect”.
